Sugar

******YAMAC HOUSE, IN TEXAS*****

Sugar has slowly adjusted to being here at The Yamac House. She absolutely adores Apollo and follows him everywhere. Sugar also loves her crate, sometimes I think too much. But coming from where she was, I’m sure it makes her feel safe.
At times she gets afraid of noises. When you have her outside and if a car drives by, if she hears the kids on the road, or the dogs on the other side of the street bark….she just wants back inside. I truly think her being all alone for the 2 weeks to fend for herself, made her a bit scared of the world. But I know in time and with the right family, she can overcome this!
She is 100% house trained as far as she doesn’t potty in her crate or the house. She will wake you up in the middle of the night if she has to go. She doesn’t like little dogs, so a family with bigger dogs is best for her.
She covers her food up with her blanket lol. Definitely needs to be fed separately from other dogs. Only cause she is still guarding her food, but overtime I think she will be ok. She will require a tall fence to keep her secure. Sugar is a very smart girl who knows her name and is great at recall and walking beside you. Around 1 year, she is still very much a puppy. Loves to play, run, and just be next to you. Once she is fully vetted, she will be available for adoption. If you are interested in adopting Sugar, you can email Rescuerswithoutborders@outlook.com for an application.
