We found Simba barely alive in the landfill, and even though we were full at that time we still pulled him.

Since then Simba has fully recovered, at least physically. However the trauma he went through has had a lasting effect on him . While he absolutely loves and adores humans, he cannot be with other dogs. This has been particularly hard since there are 1700 dogs at the garden.

As always, we are 100% upfront about our dogs. It is not Simbas fault that he doesn’t like other dogs. He was attacked to the point of near death by a pack of dogs. That would leave any dog with emotional scars and not trust other dogs again.

Simba is a 7 year old Tripod Shepherd Mix, and needs to be the only dog in a home. We know the odds are stacked against him, but we will keep trying!!! He is a good boy who has been through hell and just wants a chance at a real life!
